CHRIST VS. CAMERON

"And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: after that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep." (1 Corinthians 15:4-6)

It seems we have another counterfeit J.C. that goes by the name of James Cameron. Yes, the person who won an Oscar for directing the movie Titanic which seems very ironic to me. If you remember that this was a movie about a ship that some people claimed that God Himself couldn't sink. Now he has a documentary soon to air on the Discovery Channel (by the way, are you surprised that it's on this channel which seems to have a reputation of attacking the Bible?). In this film, he claims that Jesus didn't really resurrect. All of Cameron's claims are based on sensationalistic fuzzy math and what the Bible would call "oppositions of science falsely so called" (1 Timothy 6:20).

I guess that Cameron doesn't realize even from directing Titanic that God always wins over the arrogant claims of the "experts." Remember, the Titanic was built by "experts" of worldly wisdom while Noah's ark was built by amateurs with God's wisdom. I'm sure I don't have to tell you which one prevailed! Now he has this new film that actually justifies something which is as old as the first century itself. The only truth that Cameron's new film will bring out is that Sadducees still exist today, in which Cameron fits a modern-day discription of one. Now, if you aren't too familiar with the Bible this may sound strange but it isn't. Sadducees were a religious sect that didn't believe in a resurrecton and especially angels (Matthew 22:23, Acts 23:8).

You'll read the response that Jesus did in Matthew 22:22-32 toward the Sadducees. Christ started off by saying "Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God" (Matthew 22:29). And with that in mind, I'm sure it wouldn't take a theologian to know that Cameron is very ignorant of the Scriptures by believing that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were husband and wife. Of course, this is one of many examples. On another note, why doesn't James Cameron create an offensive documentary about Muhammad around the time of Ramadan? Christian, are you aware that this film is airing close to Easter time? But to answer the question about why he doesn't do a film about Muhammad is because he knows he'll get a bomb or something in the mail a few days later.

But I'll leave you with something to ponder on. If you recall, Cameron claimed to be "the king of the world" when he won an Oscar for Titanic, which was a famous line from the movie when Leonardo Dicaprio was raising his arms in the air feeling the ocean breeze at the front of the ship. But I guess Cameron seems to take it personal about his claim of being "the king of the world" which is evident through his fervent and outrageous attack on the King of kings and Lord of lords that seems to stand in his way. (Note: Read all of 1 Corinthians 15 and for more information about why there is so much religious confusion today, click on my 'highlight' titled "The Kingdom of Heaven vs. The Kingdom of Leaven."
