HARRY IS NOT MY "POTTER"

But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, And thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (Isaiah 64:8)

Let me just cut to the chase! Everything that God has established and everything that is described of who God is, Satan tries to counterfeit it. Unfortunately, Satan is very successful in his attempts because so many people are deceived by him. Believe me, I know from my own experience from being a former participant of witchcraft and occultism. One of the many devices that Satan has launched that seems to be the most effective in the masses is Harry Potter. I already know what people will say who defend this new phenomenon that is sweeping the minds of children across this nation. They will criticize me of being too narrow-minded and obscure towards "creativity." (Matthew 7:13-14)

There are many things I could share with you about Harry Potter and how it is associated with Satanic practices, but I will just be brief by simply saying that Harry Potter is nothing but cleverly disguised textbooks on witchcraft. As a matter of fact, the author of these books is a self-proclaimed witch and is not ashamed of what she is promoting. If you were to know anything about occultism, you would know that there is a lot of symbolism behind each promotion of its propaganda.

Notice the name Harry Potter. The word "Potter" is very important to note. It is simply saying that this fictional character will mold and shape his "disciples" who read these books and watch the movie into a successful, practicing witch or warlock. It is the desire of Satan to be a "potter" to our children (the clay) to make a lot of future "vessels" for his evil plans. It is also important to notice the style of how the name Harry Potter is written on the books and other merchandise. The "P" on the name "Potter" has a lightning bolt to form the letter. Jesus Christ, The Savior Of The World, said in Luke 10:18: "…I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." Have you noticed that other promoters of Satan, such as the rock group AC/DC, use a lightning bolt as their symbol?

Let me tell you about the real "Potter" that saved my unworthy soul that was headed for Hell. Let me tell you about the "Potter" that took the form of a man (1 Timothy 3:16) to die on an old rugged cross for the sins of the world, and shed His blood, and was buried and on the third day He rose from the grave to ascend back to the right hand of God the Father. He is there now waiting to be your Savior, and wants to hear from you. After you accept Him as your Savior, He wants to be your "Potter" and mold your life into a vessel for His glory. Oh, but there is the "other Potter" who wants to see you burn in Hell forever with him for all eternity and wants to keep you blinded from the real "Potter."

If the Holy Spirit is convicting your heart right now, please get alone somewhere and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save you. Let Romans 10:9 help you: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you happen to have any of these books on occultism or "curious arts" then look here at what some people did who got saved and had the same material in Acts 19:19: Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. Now you know what God wants you to do about this, so do it! (James 4:17)
