A Word to Young People from Brother James:

I just want to let every young person around the world to know how my heart goes out to you. Adam Smith and I have completed the children's picture book The Trail Of Truth which will be available to order on this website and various online bookstores. This book is not only for the very young, but also teenagers and the "young-at-heart" as well. If you are a teenager or the parent of one, I have provided a couple of links below of two great ministries that reach out to teens and pre-teens alike. Click on the following links below:

Recovering Fundamentalists - Be sure to check out Recovering Fundamentalists, a daily audio podcast by Jeri Massi, which includes music, devotion, comedy, and commentary about the independent fundamental Baptist movement. Brother James' vocal talents were featured in episode 14, where he plays 'Johnny Mack', who bears a striking resemblance to a certain well-known fundamentalist preacher... Check it out, and hopefully we will be able to collaborate more with Jeri in the future.

The Lambs of CulpeperI have been burdened a lot concerning the cult-like mentality that has been going on in the IFB movement. There are more developments of various kinds of abuse by IFB pastors who have been placed blindly on a pedestal by their followers. As a result, the victims of abuse have received insult to injury as they see these IFB "gods" go free and are not held accountable for their actions. With this in mind, Jeri Massi has done an eye-opening documentary on a particular case in Culpeper, Virginia by a pastor named Charles (Chuck) Shifflett. He is one of those men who supports the late Jack Hyles 100%, who started what I refer to as the cult of Hammond. Jeri interviews the victims and documents the abusive practices of Mr. Shifflett in her five part series known as The Lambs of Culpeper. I have provided the link to this and be reminded that listener discretion is advised.
